Class Mini-Vid Pitch

The track I've chosen to pitch for our class mini-vid is "So Good To Me" by "Chris Malinchak" which is of the House genre and is targeted at audiences aged from 15-24 male and female. I've chosen this song as I feel we can demonstrate a variety of skills when attempting to produce the music video for this track.

Class-Vid Task

This exercise builds on the MiniVid. This time the planning stage is extended to highlight how we need to evidence our research and planning prior to shoots. The target is to produce a full vid (at least 2:30 in length). There are several steps involved:

 .To consolidate our understanding of the factors behind track selection.
. To provide further practice at pitching.
. Genuine competition within pitches.
. To provide a sense of scale.
. To provide opportunities for editing experimentation and creative expression
. To improve our familiarity with Final Cut Pro and FX.
. Generating significant evidence on several A2 coursework assessment criteria.
. Familiarising with the range of planning documents required.

The track selected for this, and the idea behind it, is down to us. If we want to make sure its our tack/idea selected, we need to pull out the stops for the pitch.

Mini-Vid Final Cut: Stayin Alive

After a short period of time editing all the footage that we shot for our music mini-vid this is the final cut that I've managed to produce from the track Stayin Alive by Ozzy Osbourne.
